Watch The Money Pit Unlimited Modified Tractor Make Glorious Noises With Three Allison V12 Engines

5,130ci – That’s the displacement of the Money Pit Unlimited Modified Pulling Tractor. This thing has THREE 1,710ci Allison V12 engines bolted to it. The engines have been hot rodded and modified to make more power than they did originally. They are now fuel injected with alcohol being the fuel that gets fire hosed into the 36 operational cylinders. The volutes you can see on the front of the engines (we believe) are funneling air into centrifugal blowers. With just these tow factors considered it would not be out of the realm of reason to see these are 2,500-3,000hp engines EACH.

The big “Ally” engines were built by the tens of thousands during the WWII era and there are very few of them left now. These engines are worth a pile of dough a piece. We love the fact that these engines which were first built so many decades ago are still pounding the air with their exhaust note. With three of them at full song it really has a racket we cannot compare to anything else.

Perhaps the neatest part of this whole thing is that the Bollinger’s who field the tractor are part of a larger team that ALL run Allison powered tractors. Some are single engined, at least one is a double engined piece and then there’s the big daddy which you will see below.

5,130ci. That’s BangShifty to the max!
