It is amazing to think about how quickly the side by side market has developed over the last 10 years. Vehicles that were designed to be handy farmer’s tools have been converted into some of the most capable and bad ass off roaders in the world. Guys run the damned Baja in these things now. The influence of side by sides in the aftermarket cannot be denied either. Every off-road component company is making something for these things now. From winches to portal hubs, lift kids, bad ass wheels, chassis bracing, and engine upgrades, there’s nothing you cannot do to a side by side in 2017 and that brings us to this video.
Because of all the hype and all the parts and the fact that the little bastards are easier to lug around than a truck or a Jeep, side by sides have become hugely popular in the off-road racing ,rock bouncing, rock racing world. Guys are taking on many of the same courses as their full-size brethren who have hundreds more horsepower and way more mass to deal with. We love watching this stuff but we want NO PART in trying to compete in any of it. The dude who hits the tree and barrel rolls down the hill sealed that deal for us. The fact that the footage is in-car makes it even more compelling.
