Karl from Make It Kustom just moved into a new shop and a new house where he and his wife Kristina are planning some big things for the Make It Kustom Channel and their hot rod company Japhands Kustoms. On the list are customer projects, metal shaping classes, and some personal projects like Kristina’s killer channeled, aka body dropped, 1960 Cadillac. Work on the Caddy has already started at the new shop and that’s what this latest video is all about. In it, you’ll find Karl shaping panels for the trunk on the Cadillac by using hammer forming, bead rolling, and shrinking/stretching which are all processes he’s shown individually before and is now putting together all in one panel. You are going to want to watch this one.
Here’s the video description:
On this episode of make it Kustom, I am back on Kristina’s 1960 Cadillac Coupe de Ville building extended trunk drop down panels to fix rust and tie in our body drop using hammer forming, bead rolling and a shrinker stretcher.
