2011 Hot Rod Power Tour Locations and Dates Announced

Forum Freaks of the world unite! Hot Rod Magazine has announced the dates and stop locations for the 2011 version of the Power Tour. GM Performance Division is back as the presenting sponsor of the event and the route for 2011 is a neat one, starting in Florida and finishing up in Detroit where the Long Haulers receive their awards.

The Hot Rod Power Tour is the largest rolling car show in the world with people from all walks of life participating in vehicles that range from very mild, to pretty wild. The hordes of hot rodders descend on gas stations and small town centers along the way providing an impromptu car show wherever they go!

Here at BangShift.com we’re proud to claim the hardest core Power Tour participants, our vaunted Forum Freaks as full blown BangShift addicts. They’re easy to spot, rocking their BangShift.com gear all week on the tour. They are also easy to pick out because they’re having more fun than anyone else.

This is an event where friendships that last a lifetime are formed. It launched Chad and his ’56 Chevy wagon into psuedo-stardom, and has inspired countless wrenchers and rodders to take their stuff out of the garage and onto the road in a celebration of all the good that goes along with the car hobby.

Below you’ll find the dates and locations of the 2010 Hot Rod Power Tour presented by the GM Performance Division. We’ll be there…you should be too!

I’m coming in on the autotrain sat morning. The train arrives. at 7am probably won’t get unloaded until 9am that puts me in Cocoa Beach around 10am. What time does all the power tour stuff get started Saturday. I know I have to pick up my registration but after that I’m in the dark.
