(Photos by Mike and Jon Brooks) – One of the thing the guys who like to talk smack on the Power Tour fair to realize is that this is an event about using your car and not just parking it in a different place each day. Unique and fun experiences are offered through the week and in 2018 opening the track at the Atlanta Motor Speedway was one of them. To see hundreds of Power Tour participants taking their stuff around this historic track must have really been something else and thankfully the boys had their cameras at the ready!
Cars, trucks, hot rods, even BIG RIGS were out there having fun. Remember, Atlanta was the site of the first ever big rig super speedway race and it was used at the beginning of Smokey and the Bandit back in the late 1970s. See, you learned something today! Now you can enjoy these photos to their fullest..including the IROC Camaro done to look just like the one Dale Earnhardt drove in the series during the 80s.
