We’ve learned to wait for the incredible photos from Mark Rebilas, and now they are here. See this great photographer’s blog and you’ll read that he felt bored at the 2010 March Meet at Auto Club Famoso Raceway (thanks to rain delays), but that did not stop him from capturing the top-end action of dragsters exploding and Funny Cars bouncing off the pavement. He even caught one dragster that blew an engine in 2008, and 2009, and again this year.

These photos make us realize how much action we’re missing by sitting at the starting line.
