NASCAR’s substance abuse policy has shown another crew member the door. The ironically named Robert Good, a crewman on the number 26 NASCAR Nationwide Series car was suspended indefinitely from the sport as a result of a policy violation.
This makes an even dozen people, including Jeremy Mayfield, who have been removed from the sport due to drug infractions. We’re not saying that’s a bad thing, but that’s a number that may grow by the end of the season by one or two if the same pacing of busts is kept.
Guys, put the pipes and the bottles down and step away from the car.
