AP Editorial Says GM Must Concentrate on Cars. We Say No, Really?

Today’s Captain Obvious Award goes to the Associated Press, which ran a story entitled, “GM has to Focus on Its Cars to Boost Sales.” You don’t say! The story then goes on to dismiss build quality as a driver of sales, but places its premise on that fact that most people just want a “different” car, not necessarily a better one.

The author spent the time interviewing marketing people as opposed to the engineers who are paid to eat, breathe, and sleep these cars. Long story shot, it does not break any new ground, but it is not a bad way to spend two minutes of your life. Click here for the full story.
