(Photos by Cole Reynolds) – We promised you more photos from the Goodguys Del Mar Nationals this year and that is exactly what you are going to get. This event has been one of the staples of the monster Goodguys national tour for so many years and it combines the best of all automotive worlds. There’s a beautiful surrounding, there’s thousands of amazing cars, there’s perfect weather, and there’s competition on the autocross course. What the heck could improve off of that? The answer is not much.

As we have talked about over the years, the Goodguys series has been a driver of the pro touring movement through its autocross series which kicked off over a decade ago. Manufacturers were able to use it as a platform to show off their stuff and the scene was able to grow through exposure and competition. Today we see cars being run by “regular dudes” that would have been Earth shattering back in those early days. Cole Reyolds was on the scene and he blast this crop of images from the event.
