BangShift Daily Tune Up: “Show Me How To Live” Audioslave (2003)

BangShift Daily Tune Up: “Show Me How To Live” Audioslave (2003)

Not only is this a great song, but also one of the coolest music videos ever. Why? Because the entire thing is based on the movie Vanishing Point! New footage, original movie footage and more, but it’s all good. The Dodge Challenger jumps, slides, and hauls ass as you would expect, but with the guys from Audioslave behind the wheel during parts rather than Kowalski. It’s a good watch, and a good song you’ll want to crank up, so you might want to apologize to your office mates now. Just saying. Or screw em, just crank it!

One of the other cool things about this video is the fact that they used two Dodge Challengers during filming and one of them was given away in a contest to a lucky fan. Spreading the hot rodding love, we love that.

I read somewhere that they actually drove a Camaro into the dozers at the end. If you do a frame by frame on a DVD apparently you can make it out…

Actually it was a ’68 Firebird, not a Camaro nopi8s. Yes, I have done the DVD frame by frame. Truly a kickass video to kickass movie and song.
