Honestly, words aren’t really needed, are they? It’s not everyday that we get to see the rare stackable Porsche 911 Carrera Cup race cars actually get stacked, but somehow, on the opening lap of a France Carrera Cup race, Jules Gounon Porsche was shoved into and on top of Joffrey De Narda’s Porsche, in what can only be considered to be the most perfect accidental parking job of all time. Period, point blank. The only way these two 911s could have been stacked any neater would have involved a crane and two engineers.

Such impeccable balance, such poise! It’s modern art, the triumph of driver over machine, signified by the victor parked on top of the defeated. Well, that would be the case, but it didn’t take long for officials to red-flag the race so that the delicate issue of how to get the cars separated could be worked out. We haven’t seen any reports of injuries, and given how gentle the accident seems to be, we would be surprised to learn of any injuries. There is no telling of how many French families are now having “the birds and the bees” talk with their kids tonight, with the parents explaining where Caymans and Boxters come from.

Look at the race number of the car on top – 169
