We Offer You One For The Weekend: Which One Of These Boats Do You Choose For A Weekend On The Lake?

If someone told you that you could have one of these three boats, for the weekend on the lake, for free, which one do you choose? The hot rodder and racer in me, that totally wants to own a Big Block Chevrolet powered Jet Boat goes HELL YES! JET BOAT!!! Of course the cruise around and have fun with friends guy that doesn’t want to worry about whether my friends have their own boats to bring, says PONTOON BOAT!!! And then the guy who wants to hang out and never leave the water all weekend things CABIN CRUISER! They all have great features, they all would be a riot, because no matter which one you choose means you are out on the water having fun. That’s a win don’t you think? But if I told you to show up at the docks on Saturday morning, with your friends, drinks, and sunscreen and you can choose from any of these three you want right then and there, which one is it?

I think the majority of BANGshifters are going Jet Boat. Or Pontoon. It’s either go fast or party or both.

Or does it depend on the boats that your friends have? I don’t know many people here in Texas with boats. Or at least not that I know of. If I had friends with Pontoons then I’d choose the Jet for sure. But if I have friends with fast boats then maybe I choose the pontoon. Hmmmm

Which would you choose? Let us know in the comments below!

Jet boat, but I’d have to sink that bowtie powered mess and get a 455 Olds or Pontiac- or just do it right with a 514 Ford regardless it’s fun it’s mine and that’s all that matters

Coudn’t afford gas for even a couple hours on the Go Fast, probably could get a day or so out of the Express Cruiser, so I guess it would be the Pontoon Boat for me.

I’m not a boat guy, but when I give it some thought, I always like the idea of a boat you can sleep in. And a lake big enough to enjoy it. (Shuswap, Okanagan, Powell, Michigan, etc.)

Cabin cruiser . It’s plenty fast enough to water ski and tube with and when the guests leave for home find a quite spot on the lake or dock and go to sleep .

Pontoon. Easy to take the pup, fish from, use as a dive platform etc… Small gas grill, cooler with food and beverages and you’re set for the day.
When you’re done clean up with a pressure washer.
