With the biblical weather that descended on Bakersfield last weekend, the final competition rounds of the March Meet were postponed until this weekend. We’re here to tell you that BangShift, and presenting sponsor Safety Sentry, will be broadcasting LIVE and FREE from Bakersfield this Saturday. We will be back at you later this week with our schedule of the broadcast, but we wanted to let the world know that we will be there.
It will be an interesting day of racing, especially in the funny car class. Several of the competitors left in the funny car field are committed to running the IHRA Nitro Jam race in Tuscon. We’re wondering is some of the “first round runner ups” will be placed back into the field, or if the ladder will stand as is and there will be some singles for competitors that are supposed to face racers who have headed to Tuscon.
In the sportsman ranks, we’ll show all the action from morning until the conclusion of the event on Saturday evening. As sportsman racers, we know what it means for people to compete for a prestigious title like that of March Meet Champion, and we’re proud to show that competition to the world.
We cannot thank the fine people at Safety Sentry, MSD, AFCO, Mickey Thompson and Chris Alston’s Chassisworks for their support of BangShift’s broadcast of the March Meet. Our Friday and Saturday audiences were massive and their ranks spanned the globe.
Help us spread the word that BangShift will be broadcasting LIVE and FREE from the conclusion of the March Meet this Saturday!!! Stay tuned here on the BangShift blog for our event broadcast schedule!
