BangShift-Approved Music Video: Five Finger Death Punch “House Of The Rising Sun”

BangShift-Approved Music Video: Five Finger Death Punch “House Of The Rising Sun”

Five Finger Death Punch have been making waves in rock music for seven years now, with a ballsy, fast-paced heavy rock that caught on from the start. They formed from the ashes of W.A.S.P, Motograter and U.P.O. They’ve worked with such artists as Jamey Jasta, Tech N9ne, and Maria Brink from In This Moment. They have had Rob Halford from Judas Priest collaborate with them. They’ve even gotten away with covering an LL Cool J song (admittedly, it’s “Mama Said Knock You Out”, which it isn’t exactly a stretch for them), so to say they’ve made it in music is an understatement. They tour their asses off and play like it’s the last performance every night.

The video below is for their current single, “House of the Rising Sun”, a well-known and well-covered blues song. The video has a lot of Mad Max-style vehicles in it, including a lifted ’59 Cadillac, a diesel-powered rod ripping donuts, and a sinister suicide-door Continental. The vehicles were built by Welder Up Garage in Las Vegas, Nevada and the video was directed by guitarist Zoltan Bathory in conjunction with Thought Pirate Film’s Brian Neal.

WARNING: There is strong language and some suggestive acts in the first part before “House of the Rising Sun” actually plays. It’s certainly NSFW and not for young ears. To skip to the more agreeable section, skip ahead to 1:17.

  1. Doc

What’s not to like? Hot chicks, guns, cool cars (not sure about the lifted caddy) and good music.

I’m with you on this one Doc, lets just wait until Bangshifts resident expert on everything (GuitarSlinger) has his two cents on this video.

  3. 440 6Pac

The only thing that gave that any social redeeming value are the girls and the Lincoln.
