So I’ve locked Chad out of the BangShift Daily Tune Up studios after yesterday’s horrendous tune by the ‘Hoff. Seriously on behalf of everyone, everywhere, we apologize for that one. We’re going to cleanse your palette in an interesting way with this song, a Bluegrass style cover of the Prince tune Little Red Corvette. Sure that sounds completely insane and weird, but these guys slay it. They are talented musicians and can really jam. The dude on the banjo is really something else!
The name of the band is Greensky Bluegrass and from what we have seen, they are from Michigan and have been playing together for about a decade. The guys have released several albums and this video looks as though it was made at a festival or some other type of concert deal. The audience is totally into it and these guys are really good musicians. They are the perfect antidote to the horror that was yesterday’s daily tune up. I washed my ears out with acid and 80-grit sandpaper after that!
