Our cousin, Brian Walsh is in the Air Force. In fact, he flies stuff. Brian stumbled upon this rather funny looking scene on base the other day and shared it on his Facebook page. We saw it an immediately thought that it would be perfect for the BangShifty readership to caption!
The plane that has apparently been pulled over by the Chevy cop car is a Hornet and is part of VFA-211, otherwise known as the “Flying Checkmates”. The squadron was originally formed in 1945 as a bombing group and flew Helldivers, through their history they have grown and evolved to the place that they are in today. The Checkmates kicked asses in Korea, Iraq during Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Aanconda. They’re a bunch of bad asses, no two ways around it.
Caption this photo!
ACHIEVEMENT: Six-star wanted level
The pilot chuckled as he waited for the pursuing cop to get within range of the afterburner.
Just after this picture was taken and the cop was delt with, The tug driver got stuck at a McDonalds drive thru. When questioned he was sure he was gonna fit through as the wings were folded up!
1: “I was meant to turn left officer, but then i saw this really low jet behind me and freacked out!”
2: “That thing got a hemi?”….”Nope 2 GE F404 turbofans”
3: Maverick had enough of Iceman…time for him to go.
4: “Right when we get it home get the mother-in-law to sit in the jet and then pull the eject handle!”
5: The new ACME CORPORATION’s jet stow and go!
-If you can tow it it’s yours.
-This pic ture sure beats the guy that was towing a car IN his pick-up bed on the highway.
Cop: This is the last damn double parking pilot I’m gonna put up with. I don’t care if you *are* picking your kids up from school!
or….
Feeling cornered, Bob the tug operator decided to make a run for it. Unfortunately, he forgot to unhitch the F-18 he was trying to boost.
Heh, Heh…
How long do ya think it’ll take the Colonel to figure out he parked it & left it unlocked?
