Last Friday we got a photo of Bill Speed in the Black Widow Tuned Exhaust S10 at Adam’s Motorsports Park throwing flames like none other. Well, after hearing about our post Bill sent us some info on what happened and an even better photo! It turns out that while Bill was making a hot lap, pun intended, one of the fuel rail fittings broke on the truck and sprayed fuel all over the hot engine compartment. The next thing you know Bill, and his passenger, have a face full of flame! Like any real racer, Bill waited just a second to decide whether this was going out on it’s own or was a real threat because he was on a great lap. In a move that is not what you would expect from Bill, he wisely shut the truck off and got out. The truck is fine, and had very little damage. But what a hair raising experience that one was.
