Rough Start: Paying By The Ton With A Massive 1972 Cadillac Fleetwood!

Rough Start: Paying By The Ton With A Massive 1972 Cadillac Fleetwood!

You want the most from your hard-earned money, don’t you? Of course you do. That’s why a lot of Americans buy in bulk…it’s the cheapest way to get what you need. Works well for dry goods, not so well for milk, but don’t let the revolving door at Costco fool you, there’s better ways to work your money than with a twelve-pack of watermelons. Automobiles are a strange investment, but the bigger you go, the better off you’ll be: worst case scenario, you can recover more money in scrap due to weight alone. Now, don’t rush out and buy a cheap school bus with that hard-earned five thousand dollars you saved up unless you have some urgent need for a mobile house on the cheap. No, no…you simply need a car. You want one that has plenty of gadgets, plenty of room, doesn’t look like it’s been beat to hell and back, and might even be a bit stylish. Oh, we’ve got your car right here…

At the end of the movie Blazing Saddles, Gene Wilder and Cleavon Little get off of their horses, hand the reins over to a handler, and climb into a big black Caddy that just so happened to be on one of the dusty trails heading out of Rock Ridge. It’s a massive car, but there’s no reason why a big-block Caddy should scare you off. Fix the issues (seat upholstery, air conditioning and do something about the 20″ wheels that rub a little) and you’re on your way to owning one of the most intimidating cars made. This is pure gangster material here…and it’s the size of a New York apartment, too. Drive from the front seat, sleep in the backseat, store your belongings in the trunk, and cook on the engine. There you go, a BangShift life hack. You’re welcome!

Ooooo, Just a big black set of wheels
Is what it takes to get me off
    I’m gonna drive all night
    Spin my wheels all night
    It feels all right
    It feels all right

I don’t need no drivers license
    I’m too reckless to survive
    It’s like a carburetor instigator
    Feels all right
    Feels all right

Drivin’ in a Slick Black Cadillac
    It’s got solid gold hubcaps
It makes me feel like a king
    I only need one thing
And that’s a Slick Black Cadillac (get up)

You know I got a fully equipped rock ‘n’ roll machine
At speeds that take me high, high, high
    At dead man’s curve
I only hear one word drive, drive, drive
    Drive, drive, drive

    My machine is making headlines
It gives me love and everything
It’s like an institution of revolution
    It feels all right
    Feels all right

Drivin’ in a Slick Black Cadillac
    It’s got solid gold hubcaps
It makes me feel like a king
    I only need one thing
And that’s a Slick Black Cadillac (pull over, woooo)

I got the coppers on my tail
    Just for me an A.P.B.
    The sirens spinnin’
    Though it’s me who’s winnin’
    There’re after me
    There’re after me

Before they know just what happened
    I disappeared to their surprise
I got a Cadillac monkey on my back
    And I don’t mind
    No, I don’t mind

Drivin’ in a Slick Black Cadillac
    It’s got solid gold hubcaps
It makes me feel like a king
    I only need one thing
And that’s a Slick Black Cadillac (hold on)

    Slick Black Cadillac
    It’s got solid gold hubcaps

    Slick Black Cadillac

I lay it down, spin wide and get laid in back, oh yeah

Drivin’ in a Slick Black Cadillac
It makes me feel like a king, alright!

Can you hear the silence – creeping up
Can you hear the silence – creeping up

    In a black car
    In a black car

I can hear your thoughts decide
I can see your dreams collide

Can you feel the cold burn – close your eyes
Can you feel the cold burn – close your eyes

    In a black car
    In a black car

    This is when you realise
This is where the madness lies

Are you sleeping – dreaming that you have some choice
Are you sleeping – dreaming that you have some choice

    In a black car
    In a black car

This is where the lights turn red
This is when your’e better dead

In a fever – can you stand some more
In a fever – can you stand some more

    In a black car
    In a black car

This is where the fun begins
This is where the story ends….

Row, row , row your boat

    Gently down the stream

    Merrily merrily merrily merrily

    Life is but a dream.

Unknown- but I thought it fit this article.
