The Iron Trap Garage Sweet Heart Roadster’s LAST Major Rust Repair (Fingers Crossed)

If you have been following Iron Trap’s Sweet Heart Roadster project then you know that this thing is cool as hell but has needed some pretty serious metal work in order to bring it back to life. Is it worth it? Sure! With the history and legacy that this car has and deserves, I really look forward to seeing this one done and driven. Here is the latest installment in the build, and it’s a good one.

Video Description:

Every time Matt strips paint off the Sweet Heart Roadster we find hidden rust and damage. When stripping off the quarter panels, Matt discovered the panel above the trunk lid is very thin and full of pin holes. In today’s video Matt works on removing the rusted area from the panel and creating a new one. After wheeling up a replacement patch more rust is uncovered and the repair spirals out of control. The upper trunk gutter also needs to be replaced and what started as a day project, turned into a much longer one!!
