We’ll start off your day with some old fashioned destruction. A company called SSI is in the industrial shredder business and they outdid themselves when they constructed the 800hp Monster Shredder. The best part of this video is seeing the man-eater in action.

Dave Letterman used to do a skit where he’d throw stuff off the top of a building to see it smash on the ground. We’re famously simple minded around here and we could watch that for hours. The same goes for a giant shredder eating stuff like a sleeper couch, a fridge, and a huge tractor tire. Watch this thing eat!
