Ever been to an open mic night at a comedy club? If you have, chances are you saw at least one person step to the mic and attempt an act that was based around hackneyed material. We came across an editorial column that’s the newspaper equivalent of that. Even the headline writer saw that it sucked. The sub-head is, “Monotonous activity creates boredom.” Just like this column. We’re no great NASCAR fans here, but we have more than a little knowledge about the sport and its history. The clown who wrote the pice at the link may or may not have ever seen a race. He seems totally oblivious to the fact that there are road courses on the event trail, and would apparently like to see the sport become some sort of Mario Kart come to life situation.
We’re going to kindly suggest that his next editorial focus on something he knows about, Dungeons and Dragons perhaps?
