You might think we’re totally insane by throwing this one out there, but hear us out for a minute. The paint on the truck is pretty much 100% beyond anything we have ever seen before. Put together and painted over a 10 year period by noted LA tattoo artist Mr. Cartoon, every inch of this truck has been touched in some way.
The basis of the project is a 1963 International ice cream truck. The motor is a 4.3 Chevy V6 with a 4bbl carb on top. The wheels look to be 13 or 14-inchers, which are still way popular with the low rider crowd. It certainly falls outside of the normal bounds of BangShift, but it’ll be interesting if some vehicles cross the normal “boundaries” in the hobby.
Check out the photos and the detail on the artwork and you tell us…Is this thing cool or not?
Cool. Lots time and effort in that deal. Lowriders always go to the extreme in paint details. Different and definetly unique…I’ll have a double-dip cone with jimmies please.
Not a fan of the gold plated/etched lowrider genre.
Very cool. Mission accomplished.
VERY COOL ! Tell me if you were a kid you wouldnt chase this truck for a block?
Big Worm!
The airbrush work was amazing in person
No this thing is a bunch of wasted time and talent
That thing is about as cool as an Ice Cream Truck can get. Love the airbrush work.
