Joe Grippo should be a name familiar to regular BangShift.com readers as he regularly supplies us great photos from drag races, car shows, and the like. Joe worships at the Ford alter and he sent along a link to a Craigslist ad featuring the most hideous automotive abomination we have ever seen. This thing is light years past WTF. A 1966 Mustang Rat Rod? Drugs are bad, kids.

Even better is the asking price of $15,000. Then again when the seller is highlighting stuff like, “the frame, engine, and flames, are all purple even though they look blueish,” how could someone resist?

There’s the awesome suicide spring front end, square lights on mounts of unknown origin, and a purple interior that could well be made from the hide of Barney the Dinosaur.

The only thing weirder than the car was the fact that Joe was asking for money to make an offer on it. Ford guys, seesh. (We’re kidding, he was writing to brag that he was the new owner).
