Massive homebuilt trucks have a strange appeal to us. Take this giant ass 1976 Ford that was constructed by someone in the Omaha, Nebraska, area. It has half a mile of lift, a body that appears to have been inhabiting a swamp for decades, and pictures of both the Incredible Hulk and a Ford monster truck on the rear sliding glass. Yeah, sure the “$2000” lift looks like a set of springs that are arched into U shapes and a rope ladder would be required for entry, but we’d rock this thing like no one’s business.
This ad contains lots of classic classified ad speak. There are a few “was going to” and several “just needs” that may or may not indicate major problems with the truck. If we bought this truck (and it wouldn’t be for the $4,000 asking price), we’d go hunting for 46 inch or maybe even 52-inch tires to really go whole hog with all that lift.
Would on-board oxygen be required at that height?
You know you want it!
