There are things that cannot be believed and there are things than cannot be unseen. This car is both of those things. We’ve shown you strange creations in all shapes and sizes from places across the globe on BangShift and the fact is that these weird cars reinforce the point that there’s a never ending stream of ideas out there when it comes to cars. It also proves the fact that lots of those ideas are very, very bad ideas that should never see the light of day. Take this thing for example, a 1995 Buick Roadmaster Superbird.

The rear wing we at least understand. We know it is supposed to look like the one which adorned the back of the Dodge Charger Daytonas and the Plymouth Superbirds that attacked the super speedways of the NASCAR circuit in the late 1960s  but what we can’t understand is the “cowl scoop”, and the growth which has sprouted out of the front bumper. Neither of those things makes a damned lick of sense and they get even weirder when you highlight them on their own. See, the cowl scoop actually does nothing but house a hood mounted tachometer. Why would you (a) mount a tach in the center of the hood of the car you are driving and (b) house it in a backwards mailbox lump of metal? Feel free to never answer that question. Regarding the thing on the front bumper, we’re not even going to try to explain that hot mess. Jutting out about two feet from the grill, the big sucker fish mouth looks like something that was added on the set of a B-movie. There’s “ground effects” on the sides of the car but those don’t even bear mentioning until you figure the other stuff out.

Power is from an LT1 350, and the seller is adamant that all the body work is done in steel and there is no body filler. That’s a comfort right?
