Looking For Project Car Material? An Impound Lot In Yuma, Arizona Is Selling Cars At $400 Apiece!

Hate deep, rotting rust with a passion? Looking for a project car that might be out of the norm, or need parts to finish up a car you already have in the works? Just interested in cheap old cars in general? Then boy, have we found a mint for you. We often sing the praises of hunting vehicles in Arizona…good metal is great to find, after all…but what we found for sale today is one of those rare deals that we hope somebody actually goes and buys from. Here’s the story: at one point in time it was an impound lot in Yuma, Arizona, and at the moment, it’s hard to quite tell what’s going on with the property. But there are about twenty-something cars on the property that fall between 1954-1976 that are being put up for sale at $400 each, sale is final.

Are they going to be running, driving units? Hell no. But when was the last time you could walk away with a 1966 Oldsmobile Jetstar shell that’s ready for building for that kind of coin? Granted, there’s a lot of more-door metal in there, and we know that’s not everybody’s bag, but if you have some elbow grease available, aren’t scared of a paint gun and want a cool cruiser, that 1964 Olds Dynamic 88, 1970 Plymouth Fury or the Ford Galaxies could be your ticket. We have visions for the 1973 Chevelle that’s sitting there that involve a lot of tubing and four fat, wide tires.

Remember the time when 68-72 Novas where affordable cheap cars?.I think that time has come to the 73 Chevelle, and in a couple years it may be rare to find one like that,to this price.
