(Photos by Mike Brooks) – We’re back with another installment of images from the 2017 Buffalo Motorama! The photos come to us from one half of the BangShift “Buffalo Connection” of Brooks and Ferrer. This particular grouping of race cars is pretty heavy on the  “cool old race car” quotient. There are some old gassers and other hunks of quarter mile iron in here you will love.

The history of hot rodding and drag racing runs very deep in Bufflo and the surrounding area. There were (and are still) multiple drag strips in the area and the names that have come out of there are like a who’s who list of coolness. Jim Oddy, Freddy Hahn, Mike Janis, Dan Fletcher, Jim Salemi, Mike Stawicki, and the list goes and and on and on.

The cars you will see here would fit in and stand out at any show in the country. Those long, snowy Buffalo winters help guys plan out what they want and they usually give ’em time to build those ideas into reality as well. This show is great!
