This Trar, half truck half car, is epic in so many ways. First off because our own Brian Lohnes knew nothing about it and it’s located in his neighborhood. Second, it’s a 1966 Lincoln! I mean I’m down with the Trars, but somehow this one might be a bit of a sacrilege. What do you think? According to the seller it’s titled as the 1966 Lincoln, rather than the 1979 F-250 that’s underneath, which is good because otherwise they might not give you your country club membership.

You’ll remember that at few years ago I ran the Trar story about the Corvette that we found that had been put on a Blazer chassis. That one didn’t upset me at all, but that’s because it was such a simple and easy task to pull the body off of it and make it into a Corvette again. Maybe the Lincoln is setup the same way, but I have this sneaking suspicion that someone got their weld on under this thing. I hope I’m wrong. There is something really cool about these old Lincolns.

It runs on 37in military humV tires mounted on alloy rims witch are excellent condition. has a 460ci with towing cam and automatic tranny. had nice cold ac until the accumulator went but it is all there. still could use a handful of little silly things to be completed. I built this truck and I built it right. I am not selling this for someone else. you know how that BS go’s I HATE THAT! come take a look. asking 5700 or best offer. If you can afford the fual this can go anywhere, will trade for camaro,mustang, lifted truck,or some other nice vehicle or nice antique car or truck.
I think its cool, besides the cow horns on the front. The tires look like they match the wheel wells also. I’d drive it but I like most trars anyways.
I can’t figure out if this is a “so wrong it’s right” deal or if it’s just plain wrong.
Old Lincolns are cool. Old hot rod Lincolns are even cooler. This one just sucks.
