With the increasing popularity of vintage RVs and Trailers, along with TV Shows like Flipping RVs on GAC, more and more awesome vintage examples are showing up on eBay and Craigslist. The cool thing is they are super fun to check and out lust over. The crap thing is that I want one BAD! Hell, Daphne and I are scouring Craigslist daily trying to find one at a screaming deal so that we can clean it up and tow it behind her ’66 Bel Air Wagon.
In the world of Vintage Trailers, the Shasta brand is one of the more easily recognizable and sought after. Models like this 1963 Shasta vintage trailer have the famed Canned Ham shape, along with Shasta’s trademark wings. While the wings serve no actual purpose, we sure do dig them.
Can’t you just see this being hauled behind the family station wagon? Or a 1963 Ford Pickup?
Check it out, and if someone out there in BangShift land buys it, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let us borrow it just once.
If any of you have a line on any late 50’s to early 70’s trailers that can be had for a song and need mostly cosmetic work, let me know. [email protected]
Picture this beauty being pulled behind a red and white 55 Chevy. The side trim on this rig is very similar. It would be a great match!
