Ridelust.com is reporting that the new kids on the F1 block, USF1, has removed themselves from the Danica Patrick chase, leaving the door open for her potential switch to NASCAR. We’d be pretty surprised if Danica stayed in the IndyCar game. There’s lots of fame and fortune to be had in NASCAR.

Patrick would seem to have a hammerlock on major sponsorship money due to the media circus that would chase her every move if she joined the NASCAR circut. We’d be interested in watching her mix it up with the guys. She’s been doing a good job of it in open-wheelers, but honestly, that stuff is slightly less entertaining to watch than CSPAN.
