In honor of this weekend’s running of the Daytona 500 we’re going to take you on a tour of Daytona, Florida, in the only way we know how, through the eyes of Craigslist. If you’ve been reading BangShift.com for any length of time, you know that we’re not going to be showing you pristine ’69 Camaros. Case in point, this weird van.

The good parts are the “350 roller motor” topped with “holly pro fuel injection” the 700R4 transmission, and, ok, that’s the good part.

The rest? A custom sliding rag top, a la the 1973 Nova Sun Coupe. There are 16-inch wheels that somehow clawed their way out of 1997, a three inch “body drop” and two and half inch suspension drop. There’s also the matter of the purple paint.

The best part is that this may be the best vehicle we found for sale in Daytona. Stay tuned throughout the day for more greatness from the home of NASCAR.
