You have to be dumb to rob a gas station. You have to be fourteen levels deeper than dumb to do it and use a stretched H2 limo as the escape vehicle. A 24-year-old Kansas man, Eric Henson, did just that the other day and police nabbed him shortly after perpetrating the crime. Maybe he was just desperate over the news that GM’s Hummer brand is dead.
Even better is the fact that the guy rented the limo and the driver of the Hummer was not involved in the brilliant criminal plot to relieve the “Kwik Shop” of what we can only assume was a massive pile of cash totaling perhaps $100. The police report says that Henson used a knife to rob the store.
A delivery person called 911 and blew the criminal’s nefarious plan sky high. The limo was identified by police mere minutes after the robbery and Henson is now in the greybar motel otherwise known as the Shawnee County Jail.
The report claims that Henson was drunk at the time of the crime.
