Tractors? We love them. Old school monster trucks? Yep, love ’em too. Making an old school looking monster truck out of a huge tractor? You’ve basically described mechanical porno. A man in Florida did just than and this is no hack job. The truck was really done right and now it is for sale. Owning this truck would elevate you to near superhuman status.
Starting with a 1973 Model 1805 Massey Ferguson tractor, powered by a 3208 Caterpillar diesel, the builder added the body from a 1994 Ford F150. The damned thing looks like it came this way from the factory! You’ll note the large gap between the cab and the bed. This is present because the truck/tractor articulates in the middle to steer. Without the gap, the body would smash together when the wheel is turned to full lock.
The downsides of the truck? It is on a tractor chassis that has virtually no suspension, it is not street legal, and other than looking really boss, it isn’t all that useful. Don’t get us wrong, if practicality is anywhere on your buying check list, you’re looking at the wrong truck. We still love the hell out of it because we’d do like the owner does in the video below and simply crush old cars for our own amusement.
We’re going to guess that it is completely unstoppable in a mud bog. The articulating frame, gearing, and eight tires mean that no depth of mud could ever stop it. Weighing in at 18,000lbs, you’ll definitely do some sinking.
