Here’s a quote from EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson: “These long-overdue findings cement 2009’s place in
history as the year when the United States Government began addressing
the challenge of greenhouse-gas pollution and seizing the opportunity
of clean-energy reform. Business leaders, security experts, government officials, concerned
citizens and the United States Supreme Court have called for enduring,
pragmatic solutions to reduce the greenhouse gas pollution that is
causing climate change. This continues our work towards clean energy
reform that will cut GHGs and reduce the dependence on foreign oil that
threatens our national security and our economy.”

Apparently the EPA came to its own conclusions about greenhouse gasses so that it could have more authority over emissions issues, and nitrous oxide is one of the gasses in their sights for restriction.

Regulations are going to start stacking up even with the news that scientists have been suppressed for their findings that climate change may not be caused by humans. Those claims are being questioned as being attempts to hurt PR for the Copenhagen Climate Summit currently going on.

That’s the Copenhagen Climate Summit that has overflowed Copenhagen streets with more limos than the country has to offer and more private planes than the airport can manage to bring together world leaders such as President Obama, Daryl Hannah, and Leonardo DiCaprio so they can establish a plan for worldwide reform.
