We found the perfect place for the big Mickey Thompson hemi-headed 427ci Ford that is currently for sale on eBay. It would fit nicely in the front of this vintage front-engine dragster that is also for sale. This digger has some history too. It was built by Speed Products Engineering, a chassis shop based out of Santa Ana, California, that was operated by a man named Roy Fjastad, who still is active at Bonneville. Fjastad’s shop turned out some nice dragsters among them were the Howard’s Cams Rattler driven by Larry Dixon Sr.

This car was driven by Raymond Beadle before he went onto driving Funny Cars, the most well known of which was the Blue Max. The car was run with an Elephant motor back in the early 1970s when it was new, according to the seller.
