(Photos by Joe Grippo) – Over the last few days we have been taking you through the 2014 Northeast Rod and Custom Nationals car show that took place outside of Philadelphia. This event was packed and this last gallery has all the same cool stuff and oddities that you have been seeing in the others. From the swoopy sports car featured below with the small block Chevy growing out of the engine bay to the monster heavy-duty military tow truck that looks like it could lift a tank and carry it away, this was a true automotive smorgasbord of Olympic proportions.
Since the deep freeze weather is over tracks will be opening their doors over the course of the next week or two, and people are sick as hell of looking at their cars instead of driving them, this was a fine way to cap the “off season” for Pennsylvania area hot rodders before turning their junk loose on the streets, drag strips, dirt ovals, asphalt ovals, pulling courses, etc.
