If you want to see what is arguably the coolest Pro Touring Event on the planet, tune here on Saturday May 5th at 7am Eastern Time as we run all day long til the big shootout is done around 7pm. That’s 12 hours of killer cars running around what may be our new favorite midewestern track, Salem Speedway in Indiana. With Pro Touring events  popping up all over the country, some of them seem to just be the same old same old. Not this one. Battle at the Banks in Salem Indiana at the famed Salem Speedway is going to give you a track like you’ve never seen before. With 75 or more of the coolest Pro Touring machines in the country, including Ridetech’s ’33 Ford,  48 Hour ’68 Camaro, venerable ’69 Mustang and ’66 Chevelle, plus Schwartz Ultima GTR, Terry Nuevilles Camaro, and more using two of Salem’s banked corners and it’s long back straightaway, this “mini-roadcourse” or “giant autocross” will see guys running speeds well over 100mph as they go down into turn three of this 1/2 mile oval. BangShift Chad will be in the house announcing and causing trouble as promised and BangShift will be there bringing you another LIVE Pro Touring event. Yep, we’ll be LIVE for the Battle of the Banks from start to finish. And as always it is FREE.

This event also pays out to at least 16th place guaranteed! The entry is only $50 for you and your car, and regardless of where you qualify you will have a full day of racing. Plus, eliminations will be done with a drag race style ladder so it’s anyone’s event to win. It can’t get any better than this deal. They have a $10 per car cruise in, great grandstands, and don’t forget we’ll be there. That means it has to be fun!
