Last week we bought you a big gallery of more than 250 photos from the Kontinentals Car Club “Day of the Drag Race” event held in Texas. Well, shooter Charles Wickam found another pile of photos and sent them along for us. These are photos from the strip and in the pits of this cool event that features stuff from 1964 and earlier, lots of traditional rods and more patina than you can shake a cat at. 

The setting for the event is super cool too. The rustic and awesome strip that the race was held at is called Little River Dragway which is situated outside of Temple, Texas. The track has been in operation since 1959, and by the looks of the place it has stayed true to its roots!
