Car show season in New England really finds another gear in the early fall. Cool weather and changing foliage are two awesome reasons to get your junk out of the garage and onto the road to enjoy the final few weeks of “car season”. We dropped in on the 2010 Spooktacular Cruise n’ Classic Car show held in Whitman, Massachusetts. This was a charity show that benefits the town’s D.A.R.E (drug education) program in schools.
Proving that you never know what you’ll find at any car show and local shows should not be underestimated was the kick ass Australian Falcon XB we saw. Bought by the Connecticut based owner from an Australian junkyard, the Falcon was restored in his home garage and now sports a nearly 400hp 351ci Cleveland engine, and right hand drive. It is greatness.
