Car Show Gallery: The Batavia, Illinois VFW Car Show

Car Show Gallery: The Batavia, Illinois VFW Car Show

While we were taking the slow boat home from Bowling Green on Sunday, intrepid BangShift contributing photographer Greg Rourke was pounding the pavement with his lens at the ready. Greg hung out at the VFW Car Show in Batavia, Illinois. The show looked like a relaxing affair with lots of dads kicking back, talking cars, and enjoying some nice weather.

As usual Greg did a great job of shooting the show. There were some great cars and trucks in attendance. When the engine spread ranges from Wildcat 445 Nailheads to killer 426ci Chrysler Hemis, life is pretty good. We know that Greg had a much more fun Sunday than we did! Hit the link below to see how good it was!

I spent a good deal of time talking to the guy with the 66 Barracuda. It’s the first car he’s done. It was a well hacked race car, it’s flawless now. Runs low 12’s on drag radials, and has run at Pinks All Out.
