The last time we were able to enjoy the Chattanooga Cruise-In was 2019, the first year that the event was held at Camp Jordan Park instead of the streets around Coker Tire. Why the change? Because the show had grown so large over the preceding years that it had outgrown the downtown streets where Coker Tire and Honest Charley Garage sits, by a large faction. Moving to Camp Jordan allows for many more cars to park up and lets the vendors occupy the indoor arena. We loved the new layout. Then…well, you know what happened next. For the last two years, the show has been on hiatus, but this year the show went off without a hitch and to say that the show-goers missed hanging out in a park surrounded by fellow gearheads on a lovely Spring day would dramatically undersell just how well this year’s Cruise-In went down.
In order to get a good parking spot and see as much as possible, you need to arrive early and spend the better part of the day looking around. You also need to plan on making a few laps of the grounds, as cars left and other vehicles parked up in their place. The show is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., yet when we pulled the plug at 2 p.m., vehicles were still streaming in that we hadn’t seen. Enjoy this first gallery of photos from the show…there’s plenty more to come from Chattanooga!
Thanks a lot for sharing pictures of those cars. I really love cars and that is why I always visit car events. I missed this event because I was busy searching for the uk best essays online. I want to see pictures of that car event and thanks to you for sharing them with us.
