(Photos by Charles Wickam) – Here’s a great look at why shows like the Dallas Autorama continue to keep themselves rolling strongly every year. They literally offer something for everyone to see no matter your preference in cars, trucks, or whatever automotive subculture you belong to. In this collection of photos, three things are highlighted. The first is the car jumping/hopping exhibition that was held outside the expo center where the show was, the second are several insane dirt bike riders leaping and performing stunts for the crowd, and the third thing is some entries from the modeling contest that was held at the show. We’re not talking about dripping glue and sloppy paint here, kids. No, there are professional level models made by people who have as much skill as the master car builders making full sized hot rods.
Anyway, here’s an example of why today’s car shows are often more than just people sitting in chairs and bench racing. This was a full on event and it looks like it was a lot of fun for people of all ages, stripes, and tastes!
