Today we’re back with another blast from DRD Photos. Dom Damato has had the middle of the country on photo lockdown here at BS recently with a dispatch from the Milwaukee world of wheels and now a couple days worth of Autorama goodness. His stuff is always great and he zeroed in on the BangShifty stuff that he knew you would want to see.
It is neat how some things in hot rodding’s heritage gathered so much steam that they are still at the forefront of their respective worlds today. Races like the March Meet, shows like the Detroit Autorama, the LA Roadtser show, and massive gatherings like the Power Tour all seems to have a near unending well of longevity that we hope never dries up. Autorama especially and that makes sense. The show is in the epicenter of the American automotive industry, it is held in the winter where everyone is looking for something to do, and finally, it has the Ridler award as its center piece which either continues the legacy of existing legends or helps to define the newest ones.
