BangShift Chad just called from Norwalk, Ohio, with the news that Unlimited racer Jeff Lutz and his bad, 7-second 1957 Chevy are out of the competition at Hot Rod Drag Week. It seems that a broken starter ended it all!
Lutz ran 7.63 and 7.64 on the first two days, and was the only racer still posing a threat to Larry Larson, who ran 7.25 at 199 mph earlier today, Day 3.
If Larson can keep his car together, he’s looking good. If not, Pro Street car Eric Yost still stands a chance to win overall. It’s never over until it’s over!

I heard thru a thread that jeffs car got burnt down i was realy wantin him to take larry out and bust out a six second run but who knos i just hope his sons honda with them big 76’s do some dammage keep me posted all i got is a phone for internet
