(Photos by Mike Brooks) – As we continue to make our way through Mike Brooks’ awesome photos from the 2015 Pittsburgh World of Wheels we came upon an awesome chunk that are centered around exotic cars and a whole bunch of drag week competitors. Those may seem like totally opposite groups to have lumped together but hear us out. The exotic cars and the drag weekers have one thing in common and that’s the fact that EVERYONE wants to check them out, ask questions, and see the stuff they have been reading about, seeing on the internet, and generally worshipping in the gearhead sense. One of the things that we came to appreciate when looking at these photos is just how many drag week competitors come from the greater Pittsburgh area! There are a ton of you crazies in that area and you all seemed to have prime real estate at the show.
You’ll dig these photos. Whether you like Italian cars that cost more than your house or road battled hot rods that have streaked down strips and rumbled down highways all over America there’s something to enjoy here. Oh, you’ll also see some of the nicest photos of Jeffrey Lutz’s completely insane Honda that exist in the world today. If you have not seen that turbocharged V8 powered ball of hate you ain’t seen nothin’!
