(Photos by Chad Reynolds) – Well the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association season has begun and our man Chad is on the scene announcing the autocrosses at Goodguys events all across the country. This weekend he is in Scottsdale, Arizona and he brought his camera to capture some great shots of dudes working their cars on the autocross and working their polishing cloths in the show area. As usual the variety and breadth of the show is awesome with killer hot rods, customs, big old trucks, hard core Pro Touring rides and even some good ol’ Pro Street action in the field as well.
The Goodguys autocross series has really taken on a life of its own and the number of people looking wring out their cars and trucks has exploded, according to Chad. The cool thing is that not everyone attacking the course is in a zooted up, hard handling, Pro Touring car. You’ll see some bone stock muscle cars about read to bash their rocker panels on the ground as well as a tail happy Chevy truck that seems to be eating cones at a rapid rate.
