Today, Friday, March 6, was the kickoff day of the 2009 March Meet at historic Auto Club Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield, California. It’s actually in McFarland, but no one really cares. It’s Bako to you and us. The 51st annual event reminds us that it was exactly a year ago that we tried and failed to race the Crusher Camaro there, and we also did not have the chance to run this year since we were asleep that the tree and didn’t think about it until all 500 available race entries had been filled. But that car count is pretty good news during an economy that sucks.
