The Funny Car Reunion and Old Time Drags are events that simply have to be taken in. Held each summer at Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey, it draws all of the strongest nostalgia Funny Cars from the central and eastern US. Outside of the floppers there is a huge car show and lots of other nostalgia drag racing action. Like th times we have been, Joe Grippo was shooting in the high heat and swamp-like humidity of New Jersey in July. Funny thing though, with this much cool stuff around you don’t even feel it!
Joe did a great job catching action in the pits and on the track. Make sure to check out some of the show car photos too. E-Town is one of, if not the most legendary track on the east coast. This event is a great way to pay tribute to all the great stuff that has gone on at the track over the years. Nostalgia rules!
