Last weekend our intrepid Texas photo master, Charles Wickam snuck through a hole in the fence and photographed a pretty bitchin’ looking mud drag race event down near where he lives. Between all the hand cut tires, weirdo bodies, and blown alky big blocks, this event is 100% BangShift approved!
The cool thing about this gallery is that the event was packed with cars and trucks that were very grassroots in nature. The vehicles are all owned and operated by regular dudes and dudettes just like us. There are some great named buggies and trucks in the mix as well.
The facility is neat as well. This isn’t something that happened in the back few acres of a private farm. Nope, this event was held a what looks to be a nice track that was well lit, had grandstands, and seems to operate just like your local strip.
