Event Gallery: Shelbys at the Hershey AACA Museum

Event Gallery: Shelbys at the Hershey AACA Museum

Just this past weekend, the Hershey Antique Auto Museum hosted their big Shelby show and luckily for BangShift nation, our Pennsylvanian photo contributor, Joe Grippo was on the scene. When Shelby’s name has been tied to many different projects and manufacturers, he will always be known as a Ford guy as his greatest successes and triumphs all came while tied up with the blue oval boys.

From his “bastard car with the truck engine” that literally scared Enzo Ferrari and his red racing machines right off of European racing circuits, to the modern day Mustang Super Snake that churns out 800hp from the factory, it has been an amazing career and an even more amazing life. This show at the Hershey museum really celebrates all fo these cars and the five decades of influence that Shelby has had on the American car market. Love him or hate him (and lots do), he’s an icon and this gallery of nearly 300 photos highlights some of the coolest cars to ever wear his name.
